Any way to fix European license plates so they're all the US shape & size or vice versa?

Whenever I go into config & change my plate from Europe to a US plate{Maine, CA, etc.) its still the European size/shape & vice versa. It just looks aesthetically weird especially if I'm using an LHD vehicle on a US map even if the vehicle is European in origin. Surprised this hasn't been solved yet after all the updates. Seems like a mostly simple change with the config editor could fix it.

Do you mean changing the License Plate Design slot from e.g. Italy Modern to Utah US? This doesn't change the format of the plate, Front and Rear License Plates are separate to this, and these change the size and shape of the plate itself.

 

That´s true, maybe here is the mistake. To change only the numberplate STYLE doesn´t automatically change the number plate itself. The right size has to be chosen in the front and rear number-plate slot.
