Any known way of improving anti aliasing on 1080p?

Been playing this game more since i can run it properly now and one thing thats been very annoying is the anti aliasing, why is it so bad on 1080p screens? (Assuming it’s mostly bad on 1080p from what I've found online) Everything is constantly moving around and jittering with every camera movement even on ultra settings. I was wondering if anyone knew of any way to improve it via game settings/Reshade/whatever? i have already done a little research into it and found a lot of discussions about it but couldn’t find many answers.

Not the best image but it should get the point across, it is a lot more noticeable in game.

 

NVIDIA control panel (NOT geforce) might fix it, I use it on NR2003 and it works pretty well
Reshade AA is not very good last time I checked

 

Just tried it, its not perfect but it is a lot better, theres a lot less jagged edges now

 

It's a shame that they haven't yet implemented AMD FSR. The optional FSR native AA mode is a great way to improve jagged edges with very little performance overhead. Or FidelityFX CAS, which is great post processing sharpening mode

 

What settings did you use in Nvidia Control Panel? Only FXAA works for me through Control Panel, pairing it with SMAA of BeamNG makes it slightly better.

 

Iirc i used FXAA and Antialiasing-Mode set to “Enhance the application setting”

 

The best way ive figured is to render at a higher resolution than your monitor. I have a 1440p monitor, and running the game at 4k practically eliminates aliasing to an extent.
Obviously youll get alot less frames per second depending on hardware, but this is currently the best way until they release a stable version of vulkan with better anti aliasing settings

 

Bit of a bump but I messed around with nvidia control panel earlier today and have managed to make the games anti aliasing better than the previous options I was using and wanted to post the settings here in case there of any use to anyone.

I believe I also have some zeit graphics stuff enabled though I believe the most significant thing I have active is the Directionally Localized Anti-Aliasing mod, i have no idea if these settings will work for anyone else but I suppose its worth a shot.

DLSS is coming, and Amd FSR. It will look a lot better then. Can't tell you when that depends on Vulcans state( It just went into beta 0.34). It has to be improved first before some bigger updates.

 

i tried using amd software to increase my gpu clock speed and it had a system failure and reset my graphics.
