    My game spawns me upside down in the sky when I try to play the 82km time trail regardless of what vehicle I choose

    rolling start 1st checkpoint is in the air, when you choose the race settings just put in one lap no rolling start

    I haven't activated rolling start and only have 1 lap set.

    You cannot run the time trial backwards.... reverse setting causes this. For the time being, this time trial can only be done in forward motion and without rolling start.

    go to mod manager and unpack americanroad. it fixes the black dirt

    The AI almost always crashes on bridges / tunnels that cross over / under other roads. It's as if the AI thinks it's a regular crossroads and they can just go left or right. But they're on a bridge so they crash.

    Am I the only one experiencing this?

    Soo I did some digging in the world editor and I found out why the AI is confused:



    BeamNG's Decal Roads follow the terrain, while the actual roads themselves go through the terrain. This causes the roads to intersect at the same height, which I assume makes the AI believe that it's a junction.

    I'm a game developer so I have some experience with how games work behind the scenes, but I'm a total noob when it comes to BeamNG so I have no idea if this is something the modder can fix or if it's something that should be looked at by the developers.

    Anyway, I hope this helps someone figure out how to fix it! :D

    I THINK you can put down waypoints that the AI can follow through tunnels and bridges etc. I was thinking about fixing this issue on this map because I use it on my server.

    Ok, that is the fixed version from Simitar:

    1. Subscribe to the mod in the Repo like normally.

    2. Be sure to overwrite the file
      americanroad.zip
      in the folder
      C:\Users\USERNAME\AppData\Local\BeamNG.drive\LATESTGAMEVERSION\mods\repo

    3. And deep clear cache

    That worked perfectly for me. :D
