It would be pretty cool to have an idea of how high you are on an object or how high you are in the air, don't you think? Would an altimeter be difficult to program? I guess it would just measure the distance between you and the base level of a map.
There is already an altitude prop input. If you go to the 'electronics' debug screen it should be one of those.
