I know most people have already tweaked their set-up to their liking but thought a couple of you might find this handy for the experimental branch To use overwrite the file in BeamNG.drive/scripts/client/inputmaps; Controls: D-Pad Down = 8x slower; D-Pad Left = Decrease Speed; D-Pad Right= Increase Speed; D-Pad Up = Normal Speed; Left Stick = Steering; Left Stick Click = Lights; Left Bumper = Change Vehicle; Left Trigger = Accelerate; Back Button = Reset Car; Start Button = Change Camera; Right Stick = Camera Movement; Right Stick Click = Reset Camera; Right Bumper = Hand Brake; (Hold to apply, Release to... well... release) Right Trigger = Accelerate; A = Gear Up; X = Gear Down; B = Zoom Out; (Fixed) Y = Zoom In; (Fixed) Also I should add that if you want to for example park a car on a flatbed truck and apply the hand brake(Right Bumper) then just keep the hand brake held whilst you change vehicle(Left Bumper) and it will stay on while you drive the truck. I do have a couple of questions for the developers or someone in the know though... 1. is it possible to bind actions to two button presses e.g like on keyboard where you can press CTRL R to reset in place? I did try and work it out but couldn't 2. and also is possible to fire of actions (e.g. brake or accelerate) with in functions of the controller layout e.g. function random_func(%val) { if(%val == 0) { //APPLY BRAKE } else if(%val == 1) { //APPLY REVERSE GEAR AND ACCELERATOR } } Cheers in advance!

(Faster or Slower?) also in regards to the blinkers on the controller I have ideas for implementing it but would need my question regarding dual button presses to be answered. so if any one can... I think I can make this layout a lot better thats if dual button presses on a controller are possible?

There's nothing to replace when i put the file in the folder and when i start up the game it's just the usual control scheme. I even deleted the other one and left yours in there but it doesnt work. I hope you can figure it out because i would love to be able to do slow mo and reset on my controller. I just got beamng and the file you got isnt in there so there was nothing to overwrite. I'm now smart enough to point the game to your file instead of reading the other.

I have spent hours trying to get this to work going by the other thread for controller mapping just to end with nothing but frustration. Copied/ pasted yours and done in a second. Thanks again. I too would like to reset on the spot instead of starting over. The problem though is you can end up spawning with a tree or another object impaling you and not letting go. AI would also be good to have on the controller.

But glad you got it working.

Didn't know i could change such thing in steam. Is it easy to roll back as well if i wanted to? I'm loving the controller setup because now i dont have to alternate between controller and keyboard for slomo and reset. The only thing that would also be nice is to be able to set a spawn point with controller. The noclip flying thing and a spawn setter. Great stuff! So much better already.

Yeah theres a few extra functions I want to add but I've run out of room on the controller, I'm hoping there will be some way to code something like holding down left bumper changes the functions assigned to the d-pad. Currently I don't know of any way to do this. I'm also holding off on doing to many updates to my beamNG projects at the moment in the hope that a new stable build will be released soon.
Thanks for your little gamepad-files. Will try them since it was quite unhandy to use keyboard that much when playing around but using a gamepad.
