WIP Beta released AL18 out 2022-05-03 for BeamNG 0.24 - Graphics Mod AL Part 2

    Thank you :) Yeah its a different tonemap (Lottes Tonemap to be exact, so not the two common ACES tonemaps), light gradients and settings in the levels and the renderer components :)

    Hey all, just wondering if anyone has a fix for this (my PostFx manager is not opening file explorer)


    And also, do I need all of the files like the art folders from previous versions to get the shaders to work?
    And, I have installed the latest version so are those settings the same as AL17?

    Hey man, the PostFX window in BeamNG is broken (not due to my mod but theyre changing the whole PostFx thing afaik) but the way i set up AL17 is so that you dont need to load anything if youve placed the files in the correct folder and deleted the "Temp" folder :) You dont need anything from the previous versions.

    Been quite happy with the result lately so ive shifted my focus towards the clouds and the ocean.

    • For the clouds ive just tweeked the settings and got alittle more depth out of them combined with the AL18 changes in light.

    • The ocean has received alot of changes in its settings and im really happy with the result. The waves now look more like they build up and wash over the beach, the foam behaves (IMO) more realistic now, ive also made alot of changes to things like ripples and underwater fog. Very, very happy about this one :)

    I hope that it looks that good on the "normal" setting, I don't think my pc would be able to run that and 20+ cars at the same time on ultra.

    I get NO noticeable fps drop and i use an old i5 2500k, 8gb ram, 1050ti OC so you should be good :rolleyes:
