    hello.

    i'm wondering.

if i enable the AI (mostly traffic) i notice my performance with 7 cars drop from 50 fps to 20/30 fps.

is the AI handled by the same core as graphics/physics?

    if so.

is there perhaps plans in the future to allow to hand that over to a separate thread?

Well I cannot deny I don't see a drop of up to 5-8 fps on a 3950X when turning on Ai from having cars idle when there are many cars in-game.

I'm not on a high-performance PC so I can only handle 4 cars before my FPS starts to drop, but I think it is a combination of both, The GPU will be handing the visual appearance of the vehicles, and the CPU will be handling the Jbeams and other technical parts of the vehicle, but I find that as I have a lower-end CPU (i5-7400) the 4 cores max out and the FPS can start to decrease by about 10-25%, AI Traffic Mode is also intensive due to the fact that the AI systems have to be continuously calculating, which also taxes a system, if you don't want to see the drop in performance, I'm sure you'll be fine to drop a car or two.
