AI lost intelligence

This used to work better in 0.24. Now fleeing AI no longer tries to avoid traffic. Just plows straight into other vehicles.

I found out to reproduce this, you need to delete the traffic and spawn a new set. Then the already set fleeing AI ignores the new traffic.

They make the traffiic ai worse and worse in every goddamn update.

Not even close. I was just playing on the italy map and the moronic ai can barely stay in their lane and brakes in the middle of the road for no goddamn reason. Even the ai in Los Injurus is better than the pitiful ai in italy.

 

Definitely not my experience. Here's a list of things that improved for me:
- AI can be seen on the other lane
- They have less tendency to crash stupidly
- The suspects swerve oh so beautifully between traffic
And other things

 

Only thing that has happened to me is it's decline. If it's not broke, don't fix it. I used to be able to set the ai traffic speed to 90mph, but not anymore. Now they only stay at 60 and brake for no reason when I pass them in another lane.
Just checked, and thankfully a developer sees that it's an issue. Really looking forward to it being fixed so I don't have to deal with granny traffic any longer, at least until it gets messed up again.

 

Well for me they finally go at the right speed on the highway lol
