Is there an "official" age rating for the gaming? I can't find any ESRB/PEGI ratings.
For people who have played the game, what rating would you give to it?
    Thanks!

Well, there's no blood, no violence, no people...

but there is car abuse so I'd rate it M for Mature.

As far as I know, there's no age limit I, it's just a car physics simulator.

Well like see what Ceetma say
    C for Children
    E for Everyone
    E 10+ for 10 and up
    T for Teen
    M for Mature
    A for Porn
    My guess E 10+

The game would probably end up with a PEGI3, or maybe a 7. But I do know that, atleast for this forum, there's some German law that means you gotta be over 13 to be on it. Don't know alot about it though

Currently the game is early access, so it doesn't have an age rating yet. If it got a age rating it would most likely be E. There is violence, no drugs, just a car simulator with realistic damage. Honestly, I would let anyone play this game. I hope this helped.

16 is the recommended age, but you won't get banned here unless you're under 13.

    It's actually an American law.

"4.9 By creating an account on this forum, you are also stating that you are at least 16 years of age"
"4.7 It is not allowed to share one account or for parents to create an account for their children that are younger than 16 years of age"

That, however is not highly enforced. Also, the main purpose of this thread is to discuss the rating of the GAME, not the forum. The game would likely be E or (Very unlikely) E10+

BeamNG states that you have to be at least 16, but 13 is the actual minimum age requirement.

And for the game, I don't think there will be an age requirement since this is just a car physics simulator. I've seen little kids play with toy cars and try to crash them since that's what little kids do.
    Here's a perfect example:

The BeamNG.drive phone control app's rating is "3+. I would say this game is for all ages like Burnout for example. Burnout was designed for all ages since it doesn't show human violence, sexual themes or drugs. Kids love crashing toy cars and they would love to crash cars in BeamNG.drive.

I believe the deciding factor for the rating is the content in the career mode. The cutscenes have diologue and human characters, so what appears in them will decide the rating.

The game is just a physics simulator.... any age where the child won't rage at the fact that the vehicles handle realisticallly...

As for the forum age restrictions, refer to the conversation above

I've entertained 7 year old's for hours with this game. The only "restriction" is if you can figure out what the arrow keys on your keyboard do.

The game itself is good for all ages, just make sure your kids have enough common sense to realize that they can't respawn their car in real life like you can in-game.

The forums on the other hand, are definitely something you'll want to keep kids off of until they're at the very least a mature 13 year old, and even then, I would recommend waiting until they're 16 years old, as that is the forum's official minimum age.
