"Aftermarket" transmissions for vehicles

It would be nice if you could select a transmission thats originally not available for a certain vehicle. For instance the 8 speed automatic transmission from the ETKs, now in the Sunburst. Or the 6 speed automatic transmission from the Roamer/pickup, now also available in classic cars.

It would be nice to see this implented in the original game.

 

there’s a mod for this but I forgot what it’s called, search the repo it’s somewhere in there

There may very well be mods that do this, but I would just like to see this implented in the "vanilla" game
