My controller (F310 logitech) is all kinds of F'ed up. Some controls work, some dont. Switched the switch on the back from x to d and more things work but its mapped completely wrong.

This is pretty aggravating because I finally gotten everything working right. Also discovered all my engine mods are gone. Is there some way to avoid this catastrophe in the future? Is there a way to undo the update? It was good before.

Whenever you update the game, everything in the game folder is wiped, just keep copies next time
however I am having problems with my razer controller as well, changed the port file name, all buttons work except I cant turn right or left :/

in case your using a costum inputmap, you have to change some lines for it to work with the new update.
replace every "moveMap.bind" with "%mm.bind" , and change "joy_steer" to "steer"

for my xbox controller for example the steering line looks like this

    " %mm.bind(%device, thumblx, "D", $gp_deadzone, steer); "
