WIP Beta released African License Plate Mega Pack 0.2a.0

Good evening!

While waiting for @-Smaen- to find the issue in my accurately scaled Mercosur license plate, I watched a documentary about The Gambia to pass the time and had the idea of creating a huge African license plate collection for BeamNG as I noticed a huge lack of African content in here, despite having quite some players from Africa.

Today, I finished work on the first country: Gambia! Let the pictures speak for themselves:

I will release an early Alpha version of the mod once I have five African countries done. The goal of this mod is to eventually include as many African license plates as possible.

Tell me which African countries/additions/improvements I should add next!

Just started work on some skins to match the license plates...

(Cameroon almost done, only font needs a bit of polish)

 

Just got Cameroon done (pictures tomorrow because I already closed BeamNG and don't want to boot it up again) Gabon coming the following days!

 

Short notice: Since tomorrow is German Unity Day, I do not have school which gives me plenty of time to work on the license plate. I'll probably get three more countries done this week, so early mod release might be very soon.

PS: Cameroon and Gabon almost done, will share pictures this evening

this is so cool!!!! is this mod released or is it going to release? and is the south african license plates done or are you still making them?

 

The mod is still work in progress and I will release an early Alpha version of it once I have five countries done, which I will probably achieve sometime this week. I will make the South African plates after I'm done with Equatorial Guinea and Algeria.

For the coming plates (Equatorial Guinea included) I will also try to implement more font diversity, as in a lot of African countries you'll often find license plates that are weathered down, hand-made or use an unofficial font. So, to make the plates more lively, you'll have more options when it comes to fonts. The countries I've already made will receive font diversity options with Update 0.1.1, which will be the first update after the mod's first release.

 

cool work,can you do license plates of morocco and democratic republic of the congo? ive seen moroccan plates in spain and in those youtube videos i saw some rust buckets from congo. would be nice to recreate them in the game
