Hi. I think in the next few weeks I might be purchasing my first Forza games. I just want some general advice & information. How does it compare to Beam's driving physics and will I find it difficult coming from a person who only drives in Dirt rally & Beamng. -Spede3
That pretty much sums it up... if you play it too long, you lose your sense of speed and fear of it as well... you find yourself pitching things into corners at ridiculous speeds because you can easily gauge just how long you need to hold your car sideways to scrub off enough speed to make the corner. Eventually you switch back to a game like Beam and realize that you pretty much take whatever speed you were doing in Forza into a corner and whatever distance you need for breaking and multiply it by .75 and 1.5 or so... If you're good in Beam, then you will be fantastic in forza except you will be under shooting every corner you touch until you get used to it.
Honestly, I think Forza Motorsport is more fun than Horizon. Horizon 3 has serious balance issues where the only way to be competitive is to make horsepower missiles that can't turn. Plus, Horizon 3's map is pretty boring. There aren't a lot of tight technical roads that favor handling over speed. Forza 4 on 360 is probably the best game in the series, but the driving is still much more arcadey compared to BeamNG.
forza 4 for overall, forza 2 for customization and tuners, and Forza Horizon 1 for the horizon games. just my personal opinion
In forza horizon if you drive a skyilne r32 you can take every corner at full speed and the rear just turns in and if it really doesnt male it roind you just have to pull the handbrake and then it drifts round it
