Ok, I use adbock plus. It works great! But now all of the sudden there are ads EVERYWHERE! on any website I go on.

I haven't gone to any new websites recently, (unless someone from my family got on one) but it's MY computer anyway so I don't think it's that.

Please help I HATE ADS SO MUCH I COULD PUNCH BABYS!!!

This has happened to me once before. Go to setting and make sure you search engine is Google, homepage is new tab, and make sure you don't have any unwanted extensions:) you might also want to clear your cache:)

Apparently there were 2 extensions called luv2save or something like that, I did all the steps that you said and I got good ol' chrome back! :)

Oh, and also extensions can come back automatically, so go to you program files, find the ones you deleted from chrome and permanently delete them. If it says it's being used in a different program, go to task manager and end the extension task. Sorry if it was a bit unclear, but... :)

i just have chrome set to ask me first about any new extensions, if i don't recognize it, i don't let it enable, and then have malwarebytes find and delete it

i have no idea, chrome syncs all my settings with my google account, and i set that on my old pentium t laptop (about 7 years ago)

if you meant the malwarebytes part:

    http://www.malwarebytes.org/free/

    then run a quick scan

(if you prefer full scan, or if it didn't find it in the quick scan, then do a full scan :p)
