How would one bring a set of wheels from one vehicle and make them compatible with another? For example, I want to ake slotted mags that come on the moonhawk and put them on my drift grand marshall.

Sadly that's a bit more complicated than it seems. I'd think you'd have to move the jbeam files over from the other car's folder to the car's folder that you want them to work with and rename all the text inside them. Not really sure though, I hope someone else can answer that.

It's not so easy right now. Hopefully we will be able to load multiple models later on, which would make it easier to make parts for multiple cars. (Right now the wheel models are with the car models, you would have to take those moonhawk models and put them in the grand marshal)

Thats a bummer :( I was looking forward to being able to swap wheels easily. I mean, if its possible i would like to give it a shot, I'm just hoping someone for sure knows how to do it.

I just quickly tried swapping the wheels in 3ds max, and it's not as easy as I hoped..

First of all the slotted mags have a different offset, which means the wheels will stick out of the arches quite a bit, and beside that, I just used the N/B of the steel wheels on the GM (same-ish size) and even though the origin of the wheels is set to 0,0,0 they still rotate around a whole different point.. I'm no N/B wizard so I have no clue how to fix that..

btw, I used the rear wheels on the front as well to match the width of the stock steel wheels on the GM, because the Moonhawk front wheels are narrower. The slotted mags are narrower than the stock sport wheels, so that was a little disappointing..

This is getting frustrating. When I save the mesh as .max the origin of the wheels is at 0,0,0. However, when I try to export it with OpenCollada, it changes it to a different position.
