Many people have said that the new bolide configs feel bad and very weird to drive, me included. Has anyone actually went back a version and then tried replicating the old bolide configs, because they were comparably way better?
I think it's way better handling than an old bolide, a 390 is actually quite manageable to drive now. the new bolide's internal name is "bolide" rather than "super" as well, so you can install an old copy of the car and it won't affect the new one in any way.
I can say that on the Gr. 5 version a softer front sway bar, lowered front susp, raised rear susp, stiffer rear susp goes a long way for that understeer/oversteer. Overall the new Bolide is pure entertainment and so damn good looking. To whomever came up with the idea to make 037 style versions, hats off my guy!
I do agree, the revamp was much needed, but I personally still prefer the old race car config to the new one without any tuning. Is there a way to somehow get this old config into the new game?
You can download the old Bolide here: https://beamng.com/resources/civetta-bolide-legacy-edition.20879/ It does not interfere with the new one at all so you can use them both at the same time without problems
