    I wouldnt get my hopes up. Unless something sound related has been going on in secret, the devs havnt been too worried about sound this early on in the game.

    It's amazing how little interest there is in the subject all across the board. These stock sounds are horrible and in my opinion are
    falling WAY behind the graphical department advances. Sooner or later it's going to be a huge issue.

    I totally agree. Some people would be fine with the single stock sound, but a lot of people are going to dislike driving a hatchback (or an 18 wheeler) with a smallblock sound. I think i recall one of the devs talking about super fancy procedural sounds a while back, but dont quote me on that.

    I really struggle to drive well without good audio feedback. Something Dirt Rally has been amazing about. I can hear brake squeal, suspension moving, bumps, gravel, I can hear the tire noise change as I begin to slip around corners, the engine noise is all good. The car talks to me, so I can drive it. in this... with the FPS stuttering and the lack of accurate sounds I have a habit of underestimating my speed and carreening off of whatever road I'm on. as good as things are... it's stil just a crash simulator for me.

    It has been said many times the current sound system is just a a placeholder.
    There was a video of a Polo crashing in BeamNG.Drive where somebody mixed in audio from another footage and that pretty much wow-ed everybody.

    First there is to build a proper system to get the game recognize when to play a sound (ex. When a beam stretches or etc.) and then proper resources to record clean sounds.

    Just give it time..
