    Hey guys,
I've been doing crash tests for fun. But the thing is, I sometimes get the engine inside of the cabin and I found that is was messing up my results as in real you wouldn't have a fully unscratched engine poking through. Maybe a crumpled engine coming through, but I thought it would be even better if they had a JBeam config for the engine?

There is a jbeam for the engine, it's engine.jbeam, if you tweak the beamSpring and Beamdamp values it will bend but I doubt it will crumple, there aren't enough nodes for it to look realistic instead it will kind of stretch and twist.

Real engine don't crumple in a crash although the metal hoses and housing may. If the crash is strong enough the engine will crack then break apart similar to glass with a little bending.

Thank you for that. I didn't know that. But I always found that when I crash test the engine always pokes into the interior- making the Stig's leg crumple.
