Sorry it's been put on hold for a while because I'm going to try making something really simple so I can practice modelling.

Hi, I'm new to modelling but I have access to a number of cars that it seems no one has started modelling yet such as this 93 Nissan D21 Pickup.

I would rather the world not know it's plate number.

The roof will be *fun* to model. It has a 3 inch body lift (just the body) and is a 5 speed gasoline 4WD.And now for the embarrassing part, this is what I have so far.

:(I plan on doing it really ruff then slowly polishing it as I go. As I said I am new to modelling so it will take a long time.

    Other cars I have are,

    Ford F350 V8 Dually Diesel.
    Ford Expedition Gasoline.
    Jeep Wrangler Diesel.
    and others,

    Trailers,
    Fifth-Wheel Stock Trailer.
    Car Hauler.
    Fifth-Wheel Camping Trailer.
    and others,

I also have things like tractors and a track hoe.

And if no one gets to it first I would like to make a 69 Dodge Charger (I have multiple friends who want the General Lee).:) But I Would suck at making it so someone please make one soon!

I appreciate your approach. I hope it works for you and look forward to driving it around when you are done.

Too be honest, this is not how you model, check out some tutorials on "surface modeling"

Your method of modelling is somewhat correct, but you'll find it difficult to get the styling dead on. Also, working on lots of surfaces simultaneously will make the mesh difficult to manage and confusing. Go to the Content Creation forum and look for the Blender tutorial. There's a link in the top of the first post that teaches you good modelling work flow.

First of all, welcome to the forums! :p

Secondly, please don't bump old threads. Especially ones that are over a year old. It's not likely that mods this old will be picked up. Thanks! :)

Awesome idea! By the way, body lifts are useless. You still have the chassis to scrape all the way home.
