64 bit application downloadable?

Hey, I just downloaded Beamng drive.Just one prob: it says that I'm running a 64 bit PC (I am) and that the game is only compatable with 86 bit or something.So, where is a 64 bit, and if there isn't one, could the developers make one, please?Thanks a heap!

 

What says that? That is a mythical error. I am running 64 bit and the game runs fine.

There is no native 64 bit version, the game engine in use is Torque3d and that doesn't actually provide native 64 bit support, it just relies on the fact that 64 bit windows runs 32 bit applications without issue.
But, there is an entry in github for a 64 bit port of Torque3d and tdev appears to be related to that (TDev and Estama are our BeamNG programmers and are also involved in contributing to Torque3d). You may get one soon.

 

I did something random.then a window titled 'unsupported 16-bit application' and tells me to ask the developers for a 64 bit version. I click OK, and another window pops up saying that the version of the file is not compatible with my version of windows.

 

Your download may have gone corrupt then. 64 bit windows cannot run 16 bit applications, but BeamNG is not a 16 bit application like windows claims.

 

Okay, I re downloaded, re installed Drive.Now when I open it, it tells me: Executable not found: BeamNG.Drive.x86.exe. This issue is on another post, so seeya and thanks!

 

try a fresh reinstall and disable your firewall, antivirus (temporarily) and check your proxy setting!
