So I'm on a very low spec computer and having to go into the world editor is kinda a lot for such an easy task, so may you please add: 1.) Randomly generated license plates for Career Mode (IDK if this is already in there) 2.) A visibleDistance slider in the graphics settings menu. 3.) An option to turn off and/or lower amount of trees for better performance on low-end computers. 4.) A “Calculations Per Second” (CPS) slider to improve or lighten physics fidelity.
Go to world editor f11, find in the scene tree "TheForest" Hide it. No more trees. or select as many as you want with the select box with forest tools open, and delete. Dont worry, will not mess up game. An alternate version of that level is going to be saved to the user folder containing the changes you made. I would love to see more times steps too. Think 2000 times a second is limit and can not be changed. Read it one one of the dev notes "DO NOT CHANGE THIS NUMBER" lol... I am not 100 percent sure what I read it was a long time ago. But putting game in slow motion and seems to resolve more than at regular speed. We would slow game a lot when trying to crash a lot of cars. Then speed up the video in post. I like messing with physics in Blender. And I love how it allows for more time steps for calculations. It would slow the game a lot though. Might want to wait for DLSS to arrive before doing that. Personally for the trees, I would like to have the option for no lod managing. The terrain block has it. Go to screen error with the terrain block, in the inspector window. It is set to 16. Lower the number more polys. 0 is full terrain block no lods. 512 the most agressive LOD managing for terrain block. When GPU limited this can greatly increase performance. And 0 of course will make any GPU cry. Great for screenshots though.
