im just wondering how big of difference beetween the 3900x and 5900x in this game ,The 3900x is selling for around £150 and the 5900x is around £240.
I play at 60fps and would like to max out dynamic reflections and have more traffic ai ,currently my 2600x is a huge bottleneck in this game, thats with out maxxing the reflections with on an old gtx 1080 . (Posted screenshots below)

    current spec is

    2600x ryzen
    16gb ddr4 3200 oc to 34000
    1tb nvme
    GTX 1080
    1080p 60hz

Ideally id like to save money and get the 3900x so i can add the funds to a gpu upgrade in the near future as i plan to game at 4k 60fps but if the 5900x is alot better then ill grab the 5900x and wait a bit longer for a gpu upgrade.

Maybe a (used?) 5700X or 5800X would be an option? In pure multicore benchmarks, they are both two times as fast as the 2600X and the 5000s are less picky with RAM. There's also a healthy second hand market for non-X 5900s.

yeah i have thought about the 5800x as they the same price as a used 3900x, tbh i might just wait a bit longer for the cpu and grab a 5800x3d as the loss in multicore performance over say 3/5900x is more then made up buy the huge increase in gaming performance

If you want to max out the dynamic reflections slider, you're going to need a lot more than a GTX 1080. My Titan X (roughly equivalent to a 1070 Ti) craps itself on maximum dynamic reflection updates.

how much gpu power do you think is needed to max the reflections slider, id like to run at 4k 60fps . i was originally going to grab a 2080ti for around £330, but im in two minds whether to just wait longer and grab 3090 for around £700 used,

so I was just as much interested so I went to test it:
WCUSA at 1440p with max dynamic reflection: 108 fps - 125 fps (on 1 update is 250 fps)
WCUSA at 4K with max dynamic reflection: 80~ fps (on 1 update is 120 fps)

To answer what you really need? rtx 4070 ti onward to get like 60~ fps at 4k?

honestly why I keep asking for full RT or "path tracing" would alleviate and improve quality so much more... but dont know what the devs are doing...
