With permission from Raiiiu themselves, I have been working on their build of the Tuscon in detailed that's probably way to in-depth for something I wanna drive off a ramp in what's essentially a suburban mom car. This car was actually leaked from them and posted elsewhere. I reached out to them and got permission to tweak it to my heart's content just as long as I gave them credit. Which to be fair, they did everything, lol. There's still a few things I really want to work on, but I seem to be having trouble with the engine itself. While I have the torque arc for the 2.5L engine not only matched up with data online, but when paired with the corrected 8-speed transmission, it's pretty close to real life. You just can't kill it. Like, you can flood it in water, but it doesn't over heat, starve of oil, or shut off if smashed hard enough. But I've been trying to figure out for the past two weeks why it's not working, and I think I might be out of my league with this, can any of y'all point me in the right direction? With this upload, I did the following tweaks: Adjusted the 2.5L engine to match the torque curve of the actual engine. Adjusted the 8-speed automatic transmission to match the actual transmission gear ratios of the car. Tweaked the final drive ratio of the front differential to 3.648:1. Fixed the high mounted stop light graphics when braking. The light now turns red instead of white. Removed errant spotlights, will replace them soon. They were in weird spots and the wrong colors as well. Tuned the sound of the exhaust to be not so loud Make the fuel tank 54 liters instead of only 50. Changed the headlight beam pattern to more closely reflect the actual beam pattern and aimed the headlights. The source of the beam pattern is from the Realistic Headlight mod. Removed redundant manual mode. Removed dynamic brake lights because of US models. Might make a version with that still in. There's still a bunch I wanna do, like fix the bumper lights to where they can break, change their texture so they match the real life car, add license plates lights, do the engine and transmission crap for the 1.6L engine, figure out how to do Hybrid, and add the spotlights back in. But for now, how do I get engine damage to work? It also appears that the engine thermals debug doesn't work either... Edit: Here's some photos of the Tucson, sans the exhaust tips because they looked a bit silly.
sorry i ate the pictures will try to open it in Beam, and then answer the question. when it stops pre-caching the shaders --- Post updated --- edit: nevermind its the 4th gen
