There isn't many good BMW mods but this one is pretty good. --- Post updated --- There isn't many good BMW mods but this one is pretty good.
hm, finally i can give that front grille a good thrashing  though, asuch as ive seen on youtube, this thing drives real good
As for the stock motor that keeps grenading itself: Ill get to work on that later on this week, as it is indeed due for a proper fix as neither of us has really thought about fixing it. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Default one starts normal, it loads a Turbo on a stock engine block that’s why it explodes while high rev. Remove turbo, or install stronger engine block or simply activate custom user presets in the game settings to see configurations which drive normal
All it takes is just 2 or 3 edits tops so its not the biggest issue in the world. Just use any of the other engines for the time being.
Here´s a list of everything wrong with this mod: The standard rims/tires are way too thin. On this mod they are 225´s which is too thin for such a powerful car. Speaking of power. The standard config is way too powerful. Instead of 480hp, it has like 690hp. Also the engine response feels like its from the 1950s. when I let go of the throttle it takes forever to get to engine idle. also it irritates me, not only on this mod, but others aswell, that the lights are automatically on, when the engine is on. And finally (atleast for now), the custom engine sound it just terrible. It sounds like a swarm of bees or like the B25 Mitchell and when it pops and crackles it sounds like someone banging on drums. I really appreciate your realistic car mods, really, but I´d love to see these car´s be actually realistic driving wise. Otherwise these are just for making some cool photos. Anyways, keep it up!
Allow me to clarify a few things here: First off, i am aware that the sounds arent the best thing in the world but IATL requested any kind of engine sound that was not "just" a copy and paste vanilla sound. (Which i did use on the S63 but just tweaked and it somehow fitted pretty well) I totally agree that the (Rather skinny) 225s are just not cutting it even for half of the power that the standard motor should make (I will come back to that in a bit) And this is why the S63 received some beefy Brabus rims upon my request as getting it tuned for the track and remaining somewhat drivable was not exactly easy to do (And the mileage on how drivable i was able to get it wasnt exactly good or great either) So the addition for wider rubber can definitely be arranged with a future update. (And i think that it kind of needs it badly because i wasnt able to run the ring with it at full race pace, no matter what i did) Now onto the engine shenanigans... First of is power. Again, i was not as involved with this mod as i was with the S63 but the power output and the engine response are something that i can definitely work on and maybe rebuild from scratch entirely. The sound as mentioned prior is something that i wouldnt consider as my highlight either so getting that redone is already on my to-do list and partially in the works as i type this. Last but (Definitely) Not least, lights. Now i dont know much on how that system works but wasnt there some kind of "always on" lights thing? I daily a 2004 Impreza so i personally have little to no experience nor knowledge on that thing so the best i could guess its a feature on the real car as well? Either way, i have snipped your reply and saved as a improvement list for this car, i dont have an ETA on when it will be done but i am at least willing to look into all of this to see what i can do here.
why do you upload stuff to 2Fast also it's a good mod, just not really my style because the grille looks like a pig snout
Awesome! Glad I could help you with some constructive critisism. With the always on lights, I know that they are a thing for a long time, but I forgot to say that I find them too bright and so, I sometimes cant really tell between brake light on or off, without the third brake light. This counts for the M4, RS6 and S63. I also dont mean no disrespect with my choise of words, I just want to help. I´ve been waiting a long time for some good IRL cars in BeamNG without having to get crappy bootleg ones from Worldofmods or something. I can only imagine how much time and effort these take, and I highly respect you guys for it. Hoping for some new exciting updates soon! (S63, RS6, M4)
started to improofe the interior / gauges/ not working navi display and changed the color of the seats to fit better with all outer color types
While an ETA is impossible to set as of right now, what about some slight additional quirks and features to all mods like an extra engine swap and such? Ideas have been coming to me to add a VQ38 swap to either 1 or more cars. (Aka the R35 motor as it would be a neat motor to add or a rally spec I5 in the RS6 that the S1 Quattro Pikes Peak had)
Looks great as always --- Post updated --- You don't need to mention your disliking of the look of this car. Doesn't change the fact that the mod itself is pretty good ^^
