If I get free time I can get a skin or two made for this. Unsure on what I'll make so recommendations will be nice. Just not anything too confusing.

I like how I'm learning so much about the Defender from this mod, it's registering less as a real-life vehicle for me

Maybe skin for a race version? The mod already has race adjustable suspension but is not used in any configs

I also needs some help, I'm currently trying to figure out the different drive modes of the Defender as included in the Terrain Response system, but I'm having trouble finding out the characteristics of what each mode does and what they change. So if anyone know what the different mode changes it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks! :)

Could work, I'll see what I can do, and when I can get free time. I've currently been overworking myself to death with multiple projects lol.

There's a few videos out there on Youtube with one of the original Terrain Response engineers talking about the mode differences on the Freelander and LR3.

Grass/Gravel/Snow tends to allow for the least amount of wheelspin, makes the throttle pedal very lazy (have to provide a lot of input to get it to do anything), it starts you in 2nd gear, and it tries to clamp down on the spinning wheel aggressively. Sand tends to allow for the most wheelspin possible. I'm not sure on what specifically mud mode does, and rock crawling tends to grab the spinning wheel very aggressively, locks you into 1st gear low range if I'm not mistaken, locks the rear diff (if equipped), and some other stuff I'm not remembering at this moment

So, progress with the 90 is being halted a bit by the model, I spent days trying to align all vertex to make a smooth surface...but it's wavy as hell no matter what, I'm honestly getting burned with this already, the result is awful and I can't fix things like this :(

It's okay, take some rests and just enjoy the 110. I was thinking about how absolutely shambolic the configs will become once you do finish the 90. :)

Thank you, I'll update the 110 tomorrow with all your content :) In part to let everyone have some rest days without daily updates ;)

About the 90...well, ruined reflections, the jbeams are acting crazy in their new positions, new parts are still on the works, like the new quarter windows...yep, I'll take a while sadly.

    Update is in:
    • Configurations revised/updated (thanks to @dumpling)
    • Traction control revised again (thanks to @dumpling)
    • Gear ratios and technical values updated to real life stats for better off-road capability (thanks to @dumpling)
    • Slightly increased tire grip (thanks to @dumpling)
    • Fixed missing polys in the left side rear steps
So if you were hoping for a 90 update, I have bad news sadly, I'm cancelling it. I know a lot of people will be disappointed, but I'm the first in line for sure, I take full responsibility for the expectations made and showing it before I was sure I could pull it off, but I can't. It's a mess, and I don't know how to fix it, so apologies to everyone, I'll keep trying to make the 110 as good as possible.

Thank-you for all the work you've put in to this. You deserve a break and the people on here should be patient and polite with any expectations, suggestions or requests; they're extremely lucky to have anything at all.

In the last couple of updates or so, the tires have been sinking below ground. Anyone else seeing this?
