General Information This mod is loosely based on a few of my favourite cars, such as the Mazda MX-5 and the Toyota GR86, with some of the spirit of the original CCF2. Soon in this thread my twin brother, @Finn Wilkinson , will be showcasing the remastered model of the CCF2, which I am currently getting in game. And yes, that means the CCF is getting a redo. I’m making a new interior, new jbeam, new textures, everything in and out, and Finn has modelled a new bodyshell and chassis. This thread will house occasional progress updates, and so on. For things concerning the CCF, this is the new thread for it all.
Right, so here’s how the whole car’s looking at this very moment in a few renders; What we’re doing with the styling isn’t a facelift as it may look, but essentially ‘how it should’ve been’. I’m aware that sounds like incredibly vague salesman talk, so just think of it as a restyle that “just makes more sense”. As an example, the front vents are much more integrated into the design with more focus on functionality, and the a-pillar has been brought further forward giving the interior more space and making the bonnet look less long. Hope that makes a little bit of sense. Hope to see you guys on the thread!
Very ND Miata like, I'm sure that's on purpose though. If not, what an interesting coincidence. Either way, I personally think it looks much better than the original, the old one seemed blobby and round in far too many places to me, this is much better.
Lordy freakin' B! This is great! Looking forward to it. I feel this definitely fits Hirochi a bit more after all this new stuff from KJLP.
So far it looks great! Only question is: longer wheelbase? The other one’s was so short it was difficult to recover slides in.
Looks nothing like the old version, which is very good, that one was a bit too weird, this is much more realistic looking. Can't wait for improved Jbeam as well, at first it was too simplistic which caused deformation to be super weird, I hope it will be better here.

from what lol Both Finn and I have been modding non stop for about 5 months now --- Post updated --- ……ouch. --- Post updated --- Seeing as I’m part of kljp, i felt it was only right it fit it somewhat --- Post updated --- The jbeam is getting a complete overhaul; the T9 taught me a lot about separate jbeam sections that’s all to my massive reply spree

Wow! I confess that the first generation had some flaws that made me disable the MOD until now. But I was sure that this was an early version of something much better. And there it is! It looks excellent. PS: the same happened with Ibishu Prodigy. I have the MOD disabled waiting for an improved version.
