i think we have to improofe the handling and the power of the car cuz it is very overpowered from stock and we setup the different previews with controller or a wheel so this could propably be a hard thing to drive with keyboard
Mod looks good,it drives nice but the only thing weird about it is that it grenades my computer when I use it,doesnt happen with the merc or bmw mod u made
Not really shure by what this is caused but it seems like any Lua stuff. The car contains no lua script content. But the car will get a major update after we finished our work on the actual BMW M4 update so I will look after this then, thanks for your report about it.
It seems on the screenshot that for some reason the info files are in German rather than English, and that is confusing the game a lot because why the heck are they in German??
Well, maybe because the mod author is German? But yea, using English test strings is a somewhat known(ish) reason for some mods to break the game in some way and im not just talking about BeamNG here as there are other games that share a similar result.
here's my ideas for the car Sequential Indicators Working Infotainment A Animation Where The Infotainment And the gauges start and it will also have 2 new configs: DTM And RS666
The infotainment/gauges are doable, configs are possible as long as we can get our hands on the required 3D models but im not 100% certain about the sequential indicators... Gotta have a look and see how and even if it is possible, the idea is not bad though.
About the sequential indicators, CRGZ's Prasu (Supra) has it working pretty well: https://www.beamng.com/resources/hirochi-prasu-crgz-revamp.19994/ --- Post updated --- More ideas/things to add: (if possible) 1. Normal/base RS6 configurations (with silver Audi logo, without carbon fiber parts or any other packages, if you know what I mean) 2. More wheel options (21" 10-V-spoke star design, silver wheels; 22" 5-V-spoke trapezoid design, silver wheels) 3. More accurate interior colors (right now I have white interior on my car, which is not on the official Audi configurator) 4. Improved lighting, both front and rear with better recognition of brake lights 5. Roofbox 6. Wheelie bar (my own tuned drag version wheelies too easily) 7. Tow hitch P.S. By the way 1-3 can be found on the Audi USA configurator: https://www.audiusa.com/us/web/en/m...er=/us/web/en/layer/chip-shortage-notice.html
yeah many people asked me about german stuff in the RS6 and BMW M4 it's cuz the first versions of both was full in german with german parts names etc i never planned to release them but on some point i did and revert most of their files back to english only some little things were still in german but i'll fix all that in the future update
Edit: More suggestions and bugs: 8. Akrapovic exhaust can be improved to be more realistic with smoke coming out of the right place 9. Maybe a little bit better engine sound but right now it's fine
The RS6 will be receiving an update/overhaul after the G82 M4 is done, which will take some time as it is pretty much a entirely new mod if you will. Occasional photos will be uploaded as a preview
Quiet good mod, it crashes surprisingly well and the movement of the suspension parts looks good as well What could really use some improvement are the different suspension variations. A lot of them have tons of rake (rear is a lot higher than it should be) and they are very soft and bouncy. Some more standard trim options would also be nice, like silver Audi logo and badging. Overall it's nice to have a good RS6 in the game but there is still quite a bit of potential left in the mod.
Thanks for replying, I myself adopted a 4-wheel-steer system for this car. Mod: https://www.beamng.com/resources/active-aws-for-the-etk-800-and-k-series.13348/ --- Post updated --- I have a pretty much fixed version of the suspension, and a 4ws sytem
So to explain a few things regarding its handling: It is true that the configs dont have the best setups in the world, reason for this being that IATL is not the best in making configs. This is why i will be fully reworking all of the handling related things across all configs to make it drive like the beast that it is going to become over time. And rest assured: We are more than aware of its potential and we are going to use each and every single bit of it as much as we can without crippling anything in a severe way, this means that it may or may not run well, if at all on older/weaker hardware... This is something that is to be expected and will be rather difficult, if not impossible to optimize for potato PCs.
Negative, however i do like the idea of making a conversion kit for this Avant to be made into a sedan but i dont know if its possible to do without any major hurdles.
