THIS IS SUBJECT TO CHANGE Lore: The Cherrier Vivace was a massive success in the United States for the first 3 months since its release in May 2019, Cherrier did not sell the Tograc in the United States due to it being expensive but decided to ask Bruckell if they can have it under their name. (Cherrier and Bruckell are under the same parent company in the lore) They needed a name for it and decided to use the old LeGran nameplate that hasn't been used since the car was discontinued in 2004. My initial idea for this was the Dodge Hornet being a rebadged Alfa Romeo Tonale, I wanted to make something similar. This will be my first ever mod for BeamNG. Plans: - Model a new grille - Add new taillights -Luxe, Sport, Sport GT, Battlehawk, Taxi, Police, Hybrid, and Redtail configs and much much more And again, much much more When is release? No clue, depends when I think it's finished
tbh i like the concept, BUUUUTTT i don't think it would be the legran, probably something that fits with bruckels current naming scheme. EG: Bastillion comes from bastion, meaning something that keeps/defends. so something like the Bruckle cherish would work (also i don't thing there should be a vivace front end on it)
Yeah I know, but I feel like the original Tograc frontend doesn't really fit a Bruckell kind of style And ofc I'm going to make changes to the front
I really like this. I never use the Cherrier version of these things because they're so hideous. A US-style revision of the front would make me want to use it more
This is cool, i think i'd drive the new LeGran more than the Tograc, actually... And the idea of the LeGran coming back as an SUV is a very "realistic" idea. Also, i suggest it to have slightly different headlights at least from the Tograc so it doesn't actually look like a French car with Bruckell slapped on to it. And also i feel the taillights should be a bit taller instead of wider. Or maybe I'm just being optimistic and am being too specific. I hope to drive this eventually
I both absolutely loathe this and love it at the same time. I also didn't know that the Hornet was just a damn rebadge. I'd love to see the result though! (please tell me this gets an aftermarket V8).
@J1sas Some suggestions: Front needs more plastic (maybe make the Tograc bumper fit the Vivace headlights?) and you should base the taillights off of the Bastion’s, and maybe change the vivace headlights to be elongated Bastion headlights, and remove the bottom part. I’d also suggest resizing the wheels to be a bit smaller. I’ve made a picture, here’s a list of what I changed: -bastion headlights -bastion-esque taillights -more plastic on the bumper -no reverse lights on the rear bumper -chrome trim on bottom windowsill -bastion mirrors -bastion grille -bastion lower grill and fog lights -reflectors on wheel arch cladding -rounded off the bumper -bastion side styling -bastion-esque seats -bastion trunk trim -and more I forgot
If possible the engine and transmission are different from the Cherrier, if Cherrier uses 1.6 then here we use a 2.0 engine the transmission must also be different, if Cherrier uses DCT then for this we use an ordinary automatic transmission with many gears
Personally, I woudn't change any of the sheet metal parts, since you can share the tooling to make both the Tograc and the new LeGran. Imagine the car like this: What you see, should be the same between the Tograc and the LeGran (Imagine that the Cherrier lightbar isn't there, but you can keep that concept and try to recreate the Bastion's lightbar inside that shape). Try to focus the changes on the plastic parts, if you want a "cheap rebadge". A second step would be changing the metal panels mainly to recreate body lines, but without changing the inner structure. A third step would be reshape the tailgate and the hood in order to give you more freedom on the design of the taillights and headlights.
I forgot to mention that im basing the taillights off the bastion --- Post updated --- i will be using some engines from the bastion
small thing to add, since this is an adm car the blinkers should probably be red, not orange. And integrated into the taillights
I would not suggest that, entirely for realism's sake. None of those engines would realistically fit in the front of the Vivace in a way that would be marketable to the public. Just use the existing Vivace engines, that would be the most realistic. Looking at the new Dodge Hornet, it just uses the same engines as it's Fiat/Alfa counterpart.
