There's a slight drop in FPS, though I think it's because that the model itself is high poly. Other than that, I haven't found any issues yet. Though this might be a me problem, so I'll probably just close and re-open my game. Nice work again, man.
Thanks everyone! Oh, would love to, but I must admit last time with the Defender I was offered a custom set of files for the mod made by Dönerfreak, so if him or anyone else with proper knowledge want to contribute to this, will be credited and of course very welcomed Great to hear! But I'm sure things will arise sooner or later...will try to fix as much as possible, but in the end I know my limits, so hopefully with the community help as always, the mod will be as good as it gets
Oh this is beautiful! I have been waiting for an Toyota Offroader for so long would love to see Police Parts and stuff like you did on your Land Rover added to this
"Great to hear! But I'm sure things will arise sooner or later...will try to fix as much as possible, but in the end I know my limits, so hopefully with the community help as always, the mod will be as good as it gets " Yeah, and I just reloaded my game now, and it was my issue, it runs rather well now without too much FPS drop. Edit: It's actually the foglights when turned on causing the huge FPS drop. I somehow managed to mess up the quote thing so this is the best I can do lmao, apologies if it seems confusing.
nice release I haven't found any bugs yet but the engine seems extremely loud for beam at least in my game, compared to a bastion battlehawk, the battlehawk sounds like a soft whisper maybe it's just an issue with my game
will you be making lower end parts for this thing? --- Post updated --- for like base trims and all that
Just to explain, i meant "if" it was a lore friendly vehicle... i read the things about it and how it's ported from forza. It was just a suggestion. Anyway amazing mod!!!
The tow hitch is not yet available for this mod, it probably will in the future but now there's no way for you to do that. Sorry
I wasn't expecting the 4Runner mod to be released that soon, but yeah, it's not too shabby upon initial release. I found a few bugs and issues during testing though, and they are listed below. The steering wheel isn't fully aligned to the steering column: The 5-speed automatic, although dated by today's standard, does allow for a sporty S mode and a manual shifting mode as shown on the shifter base (IRL photo shown below): Over rev damage occurs when going past 5800 RPM, despite redlining at 6300 RPM. The V6 sounds could use a bit of fine-tuning as a few others have pointed out, it's a tad too loud for instance. And finally, as promised, I made some adjustments to the factory colors. Magnetic Gray is missing, but I added it. Until the mod gets updated to include some fixes (like the revised colors), download the info.json file attached below and overwrite the one in the mod's .zip file. Speaking of which, I also adjusted the production years to be from 2015 to 2022 instead of 2019 to 2020; after all, that is the production lifespan for the TRD Pro in particular so far. Like the Defender mod, I'm still looking forward to more improvements and additions to the 4Runner mod; it has potential to become better over time
