It's finally update time! And quite a great one again I have to say: Added two more engine swap options 2GR-FKS 3.5 V6 from the Toyota Tacoma TRD Pro 3UR-FE 5.7 V8 from the Toyota Tundra TRD Pro Both engines have their own actual meshes from their respective source cars from Forza Horizon 5 Realistic curves and sounds (thanks to @Braskus ) An additional V8-Specific 6-Speed auto and driveshaft have been added, in order to fit the V8 block (The V6 transmission and driveshaft don't fit since they end up short of the block) The 5.7 V8 is now standard in the TRD Pro Off-Road Extreme config Added two more rims options Of course, just like the engines, the options are the Tacoma's 16-inch OEM rims and the Tundra's 18-inch OEM rims.* Note the Tundra's rims are 5-Lug, and the Tacoma's are 6-Lug so in order to search for the Tundra rims you first need to change the hub Added a bash front bumper* Added two more 4Runner TRD Pro rim OEM color options* (thanks to @STEVIE_G4M1NG_YT ) Bronze Gunmetal Improved the TRD stitching look in the headrests Fixed standard V6 RPM limits (thanks to @starblockset ) Adjusted the TRD Supercharger sound (thanks to @starblockset ) Fixed engine block flexbody (thanks to @starblockset ) Petrol and diesel engines separated into their own files (thanks to @Braskus ) Fixed some petrol transmissions using diesel torque converters (thanks to @Braskus ) Set the TRD Supercharger to correct power and boost figures (thanks to @Braskus ) Gagues' max limit and multiplier tweaked to be more accurate (thanks to @Braskus ) Deleted all Roamer sourced and not-used driveshafts *(Not standard in any config, but selectable at any time in the parts editor)
Alright, alright, no need to go full uppercases like the mod is broken, the wheels are exactly the same, the AO file was incorrectly replaced, hence the weird look, and the file has been now updated to fix it.
The 5.7L 3UR-FE V8 engine used on the Tundra, Sequoia, Land Cruiser, and LX 570 makes more sense than the 4.6L 1UR-FE V8 engine I originally had in mind for a possible V8 swap, given that the 3UR is more powerful than both the 1UR and the standard 1GR-FE engine. With that engine swap stuffed into the engine bay, I guess it now makes the 4Runner a miniature Land Cruiser Amazing update as always, and thanks for adding in the Tacoma and Tundra wheels
The engines were primarily chosen based on what assets were available from the other toyota's in forza. And it's not slow with the 3UR-FE. I added the superchared based on it's specs to.. which makes over 700nm of torque.
Just some bug reports and suggestions -The transfer case switch knob has some texture problem -There's no exhaust for the I4 engine (200BX to comparison) -Some of the weird white-looking parts floating when selecting any parts My suggestions -add NOS to all engines -add transmissions from 200BX to I4 engine -add mudflaps to all SR5-based config (I know that mudflaps are exists in the mod, just add them as a standard option) -since the full-time 4WD is available on Limited trim only, the part-time 4WD transfer case switch knob should look like this
This has been reported multiple times and @JorgePinto has explained it multiple times already as well
