Just got revealed, and it's a hell of a looker. (imported from here) (imported from here) 3.5L V6 EcoBoost twin turbo, outputs around 600-700HP. 7-speed dual clutch gearbox and active aerodynamics. Apparently Ford may be returning to Le Mans and this will be their homologation car if true. The only problem I can see so far is that the pictures shown of the interior suggest it's only available in automatic/paddle shifter mode. Other than that I think it's fantastic. Looks like one of those fake cars you'd see in a Burnout game, and I mean that in a very good way. Thoughts?
I've been so hyped to see this and Oh my lord. That is the sexiest Ford GT to date! Absolutely Gorgeous!
Unlike the other Ford GT's, this does have a agressive look to it. One of the more interesting late model supercar designs. Oh crap Ecoboost v6 i can see somebody get orgasmic over that.
Interior photo: (imported from here) Looks very minimalistic and basic, not necessarily in a bad way. Definitely looking like a no-nonsense performance car.
It looks a bit ugly to me, but I'll have to wait a year to really decide it. For example I thought the evo X was the ugliest car ever, and than after a year I got used to it, and I started to like it... Currently I like the older Ford GT a lot more, mostly because the front lights look a bit strange
i am at a loss for words for how amazing this is of course i think most things by ford are amazing, so my opinion of ford vehicle (well, most anyway, pinto and mustang II, not so much) generally always go's straight to amazing
Niether did the old one. The cars are all products of their time, just with styling cues that reference the old 1966 model in different ways.
For once, I like a Ford product besides the RS200. Only thing I'll complain about is that weird vent beside the door. That, and the taillights could be extended out further. Other than that, it's beautiful, especially the front end.
front is beautiful. Rear is hideous, however I suspect the production version of the car will have a simplified rear anyway.
My thoughts are almost the opposite of yours...except nothing is hideous in my opinion. Rear is beautiful front is very good looking.
I have to say that i really do love the aggressiveness of the rear, so menacing and beautiful looking. I think the front looks meh (i prefer the really old style, the front looks too... rounded?). Edit: Horry sheet, look at those wing mirrors :O soo pretty....
Loving the new look but it kinda looks like a over weight Lotus at the front and the interior looks dated.
