i only asked him to do the chassis jbeam, he did it, so i dont think he would appreciate me asking him to jbeam everything else on the car

I expected the suspension and drivetrain to be taken from the bastion, it makes sense logically. Both in lore, and in ease of use.

 

It will share the same engines and configs as the Bastion?

after trying to make a chassis model for this thing, i gave up due to the fact that it looked horrible

aaaaand decided to take the bastion chassis and edit it to fit the contenders body mesh (not completely done yet obviously)

also, if you think about it, it makes sense to use the bastions' chassis for the contender seeing that they both use the same drivetrain and all that good stuff
