Hello everyone, As you can see this project will be a 2013 ford focus for BeamNG.Drive. I plan on doing this after my exams which finish soon then i will start my journey. Just saying im a new modder, i have minimal experience in the automation industry but i know how to model (kinda, ill be doing more revision on blender) this mod will come out around September to November time because i have to make all the hatchback trims i can and maybe some sedan ones if i finish early. I will try to make this mod with high quality and also make this so low-end computers can run this mod. The trims i will be doing are as follows: S SE SEL Titanium ST EV version (maybe) So i reckon around 6+ trims will be available (may change in the future) I am depending on whether to make the mod free or not, ill keep you guys updated, thank you!
all im saying is that im starting soon... whats the problem with that, plus i am posting progress later dw
You need progress BEFORE making the thread. Saying that you're starting soon isn't progress. You need to AT LEAST have a model made BEFORE making a thread. You should look at other examples of threads to see this. Nobody starts with a 'this is what I'm planning to do', they already have something to see (like a model, at LEAST). So many people give up early in the modding process, and a million of these threads saying 'I'm going to do it! Eventually!' is pointless. That's why this rule is in place.
That's what they all say. Look at this thread. WIP - '67-'72 Gavril Hawk | BeamNG The pictures at the bottom are what the thread was made with - a 3d model in the least. Just don't do this again. If you make another thread in the future, you need progress.
I swear I saw this thread in the main vehicles forum thread, not the content creation bit. I'll admit it, I did a stupid here. That also explains why there was almost no-one else in the thread. Still though, most people are either asking questions or already started just like in the vehicle threads. Also seems to be just a logical type of thing. Having a thread that says 'this is what I'll do, but not yet' is still pointless (unless in specific cases like the map in an evening project, where the author was searching for ideas). I guess it isn't a rule here, though.
Well done! Starting to be able to see the car now! Remember, if you need breaks, take them. You want the modding process to feel like a hobby, not like a painful chore.
Finally a ford mod that is actually in the generic UK market. But is this scratch made or did you get a model from somewhere? Because if you made it from scratch then props to you, make sure to mention in original post. If you got the model from somewhere then put some credits in.
