Really unfortunate that this happened, thought we got over this back in 2022 smh But hey, late 90's/early 2000's styling at their peak.
It's sad to see such a nice car and such a nice project just getting leaked for a few downloads on a website
I gave the mod a quick test. I love that this was released. I remember when the concept came out. Was one of my favorite concept cars at the time. Well done.
I know it was probably a huge blow to your morale that this mod got leaked, especially since you made most of it from scratch, but it shouldn't have to be a reason to stop working on it. By doing so, you'd be letting the asshole leakers win and you'd be doing yourself a huge disservice. Don't let a few assholes ruin your hobby and something you put so much work into Edit: I tried the mod out and I love it. It's a shame those leakers had to ruin such a cool passion project
Leakers ruin everything I think they shouldn't have access to Beam since they take away peoples lively hoods
Just went on modlands to see and did a little looky loo, well, yeah, apparently its about paid mods atleast from this guys rambling. as a weird form of protest... id honestly recommend people to disable mods for now till there is a way to make files just Not work, if not, these leaks are just gonna keep happening.... its sad... --- Post updated --- people just have ZERO respect anymore..
yeah so sad to see an increasing number of mental illness people in this world as necronomic said, this mod is NOT made for charging money, just made for fan sentiment for youtuber and his passion. that's why i like stirling's charger concept mod. made with pure passion
Unpopular opinion: I can't stand Modland users as much as the next guy here on the forums, but I also believe that if you're going to take the time and effort to make a car mod from scratch just to keep it private and/or only ever share it with a select few, then it's kind of your own fault when it inevitably gets leaked. If you want to keep it private because you feel like it's unfinished or you feel like you can do better, that's fine but if you never intended to make it public in the first place, even if it were stuck behind a paywall, it's hard to feel much sympathy when someone remembers that ctrl+c & ctrl+v exists. As douche-y as leaking in general is, I'm a firm believer that it's equally as douche-y to keep a mod like this under lock & key for no real reason. TL;DR - So you got leaked, boo hoo. You brought it on yourself keeping the mod private. Car's decent, at least.
I'm writing this again because it got deleted. It's sad to see mods get into the wrong hands, but at least I'm happy that someone has finally released this mod officially despite the circumstances. The car is really good, by the way.
