    Subaru Alcyone SVX

Released for now, haven't worked on it in a while and probably won't for a while. I am aware of many of the problems, such as disappearing wheels, rhd not working right, weird AWS, and just general incompleteness. Probably much better than the old leaked version.

    Post updated as of 5/4/20

mod is backed up on cloud (lol)

    Credits:
    Model from Forza Horizon 3
    Beamng for the 200bx foundation
Myself for converting and modifying the model and materials, modifying jbeams, a few swaps
TokyoSouls for fixing Jbeams, configs, pics, a few swaps, widebody kit, and some other things.
queenstar and Spiicy for motivational support lol and a few fixes.

If anyone wants to help with correcting the jbeam or adding the main UV map for skins, that would be great!

    needs to be done
    In progress

    done
    • Jbeam; ~80% complete
      • started to modify the body, trunk, and bumper beams. Jbeam roughly fits the vehicle profile.
    • Texture ~80% complete
      • Lights are just about complete but glow map node things aren't in place.
      • Interior Lights are complete, but a texture for the gauges lit would look great
      • a few details need to be UV mapped.
      • Different types of interiors added as a slot option.
      • HTML clock and working outside temperature display with custom TrueType font added.
    • suspension ~80% complete
      • moved the rear suspension Jbeam into place, needs to be a little softer because body roll
      • Modified Pessima 4WS Added (turns away from the front wheels at speeds below 25 and slightly with them at speeds above 25 mph for added lane lane changing stability)
    • model
    • sounds
    • main engine and drivetrain
      • Engine makes about the right torque figures and cuts out at 7000 rpm. Also added VTD AWD (sunburst computer-controlled center diff but with 36/64 torque split), RWD, and FWD with 3.55 final drive.
      • So far there are 4 transmission options: 4-Speed 4EAT Automatic (PRNDS21 with sport (power) mode), 5-Speed Manual, Race 6-Speed Manual, and 6-Speed Sequential because rally. There's no shifting to max gear 3 in the automatic because the game only supports PRND21, not 321.
    • Configurations
    • Real trims and a few crazy ones planned for lhd and rhd
    • engine swaps
      • Ezo for SR20 (red and black) and RB26
      • Barstow V8
    Other things:
    added SVX wheels
added adaptive power steering from the etk 800
need help with creating a UV map for skins such as a world rally blue skin or black roof and decklid.

Goodluck! There's lots of people willing and able to help with projects like this on this site (I don't know how, but lots of people do). Looks like a good start, and maybe you can rebadge it as an Ibishu or something if you finish and release it

Im no modeling expert but you have way more polygons than are necessary i would cut back on the polygon count.

I've never heard of this car before. Looks like an Eclipse from the back.

You have A LOT of unnecessary loose vertices on the hood, but also too many edges going down it & on the roof. Would suggest to remove some of them soon

I see the loose vertices, I'm gonna pick up working on it again today, so I will remove those. Also, the many edges going down try to simulate the grooves in the hood, not sure if theres a better way to do that.

YES PLEASE! Subaru's are my favorite cars (as you can see my old 5 speed manual in my profile pic), and I didn't expect anyone to try putting an SVX into the game! I'll do my part and try to find some measurements or something for them, as well as engine specs for the EG33 these beasts came with. I really really hope to see this in game at some point <3

I'd love to help with sound because my current Outback has an EZ30D in it, but the EG33 sounds totally different from the newer H6's

I've watched his video and I'm using it as a reference.
I'm still working on the SVX, right now I'm trying to figure out how to import a rough model into the game after triangulating and exporting.

You could use the Forza Subaru SVX for performance parts/sounds?

How is it going? As an SVX owner, and member of SVX Nation community, I/we would happily help with photos etc. if you need them. :)

Never really got around to attempting to jbeam it, let alone finishing the interior. If I do continue working on the model, I will try to first meshslap it before attempting to use a custom jbeam.
