I find that hard to believe with how new you are to the forums and the extreme difficulty that comes with making a truly good JBeam. Do you have any previous mods you made that you can show us? i find it extremely hard to believe that someone immediately jumping into J-Beaming an entire car wouldn't at least have some previous mods that they've made
He didn't make the model, and is having trouble figuring out textures. J-Beaming is way harder than both of those things combined. Call it what you like, but I will remain skeptical of any newcomer who claims to be good at making J-Beams without proof
No need for skepticism ive been using beamng ever since it came out but never had any interest in the forums at all. I only made an account out of boredom and it was then that i found out about mod assistance and people helping each other. As for the mod i did NOT make the jbeam its the fullsize jbeam BUT its heavily modified and decent enough to crash properly and not cause spiking and handles well. . That being said you have to be good at jbeam in order to modify it otherwise it will be awfull or even crash the game. So when i said i was good i meant i was GOOD, not excellent or suck at it.As for previous experience i have a honda s800 mod and an airbus a321 but i never released them they were just for practice. Also i ddnt make the 3d model out of laziness ,i do however have a model of a 1959 ford thunderbird tht i did from sceatch. --- Post updated --- Like what exactly?
Having an Impala myself, I would love this to come to reality. No pressure. Thanks for your hard work, and good luck!
I might need your help with reference pictures for the 3d model and sounds and electrics. What year is your impala? Absolutely !
Unfortunately I own a "W" Platform Impala (2013, specifically). Nothing even remotely close to the "B" Platform Caprice/Impala SS. Sorry
Either the creator of the mod is too busy or there is a big update of the progress coming. We dont know right now.
I'm afraid this might die. Even though the creator was last seen a week ago, a lot of times the author just never comes back. =\ Not saying he won't but who knows.
The creator is leaving for a bit since he's busy. Not sure when he will return, but for now, the mod is on hold until further notice.
Apparently you didn't read. The creator will not be coming back. The mod is more than likely canceled.
Yes! Please continue with this mod as I am still stuck using an old roadmaster to fufill my crashed b-body needs!
I like how people create their own stories about the modders.... Anyways no the mod is NOT cancelled, just on hold currently very very busy with work. Any updates i will let you know. I have been online in the past weeks just to check for any new mods or messages or updates. But yes as soon as i have time i will finish it. Worst case scenario i might release it so someone else can finish it.
I don't know modeling and texturing well but my wife owns a 9C1 (ex.police) Chevy Caprice '92 and I own an Chevy Impala '94. If you need to take any detailed car photos - send me PM.
