Getting the remaining Forza stuff in (currently the wing [final] and the spotlights [WIP]) just the rollcage and mudflaps to go. Will also bring some extra parts from the Covet such as the skidplates, and hopefully with some custom work added to it a nice amateur rally config can be done with all of that in
Love the idea but those spot lights are massive, haha! They look like they might be used to call for Batman... ...and that's just given me an idea. IDK if you're familiar with the French comedian Rémi Gaillard (you'll see my train of thought in a second) but he did a funny prank where he dressed in a bat costume and hung upside down in places like elevators and toilet cubicles to scare people...he also made one where he pretended to be a blind man driving...a Peugeot 205! Now...*THAT* would be an awesome config!
amazing updates, most important thing is the engine sound!! the heart and soul of the car i truly hope you manage to get it aced to perfection to hear its soul kick alive when accelerating her hard.
Mod's looking awesome, can't wait! One question: could yellow EU license plates be made an option to support license plate mods?
Sorry for the slow progress lately, numerous personal issues happened in the last weeks and it's hard to find time... Yes, I'm quite aware about him, that stunt and of course the car...since most of the looks are about beaten bodywork, I'm not sure how that could work, but will see if it's possible. Sound is definitely something I would want to tackle, but it all depends on finding good audio sources, especially for the lower engines, which are not as easy to find online. Of course, the European License Plates Compilation is mine so it just make sense to add support. Anyway, some little progress at least, the spotlights are finished (jbeam, textures, glowmaps...) and the rollcage is in. I will also add Covet's window nets for good measure, and from there (and the mudflaps...), is all new parts from scratch finally.
don't feel sorry, it's really not a big deal if it takes time!! i personnaly prefer to wait and have a well polished mod that you are proud of rather than a meshslap that i can drive instantly! thx for your work!!
Thanks, of course the mod will not be rushed to save time, it will take more, that's it. In fact, I was able to make more progress today, the rollcage now has the Covet nets as option, the mudflaps are in, and also added some missing decals that the Forza model didn't have:
Can you add a yellow cab config? Reminiscent on the rare peugeot 205 taxis in my home country pakistan in the early 90s
Thanks all! Right now, I'm focusing on getting as many OEM accesories as possible, which will enable among other things getting some trims done accurately. For the interior, I just finished 2 main features, the optional clock (working, of course) and the full buttons arrangement, with A/C and the blank one next to it. Next up will be the radios. I'm planning on doing the OEM unit, and a modern one with mp3 and the usual current stuff, which is something most people would do on an older car
Does it have a moving gear stick? Also, can you please make this one featured in this top gear epesode?
