Welcome to the Peugeot 205 for BeamNG! No, no 5-Door, Cabrio, Multi, Turbo 16/Group B or any other body style will be made. It's way harder than you think. Not worth it. NOT HAPPENING.EVER.PERIOD. (No one reads the FAQ, so sadly this is needed) DOWNLOAD (170 Mb) After 2 off-road vehicles, I wanted to approach something different, yet still quite popular, and after giving it some thought, the Peugeot 205 sound like the perfect choice As always, I started with a solid foundation (for details at least...) the 205 1.3 Rallye from Forza Horizon 5, and it was married carefully with the underpinnings and drivetrain of the remastered Covet. Of course, many changes were made to fit the 205, including adjusting the wheelbase, the shape of the whole body, and even creating the entire actual suspension of the real car, both the standard and GTI versions. Many new parts and improvements to the original car has been created, including new gauge clusters, sunroofs, and dozens of parts inside and out. Right now, even more configs are being worked on (24 are available right now), and first of all, before going any further into details, all the experience working with the Defender and 4Runner have definitely paid off, but please do NOT expect any professional or dev-level quality regarding many aspects, team has worked hard to give the best experience possible, but still far from perfect. Most configs have realistic french plates, to represent the car origins, and a couple of them have spanish ones, to represent export models and also Spain itself, quite a big market for the 205 too. I recommend using my Europlates mod for the accurate look seen in the pictures. I will continue to answer possible questions in the F.A.Q below. The 24 available configs as of today: 1987 Peugeot 205 XE 1.0 One of the most basic trims ever available, with a 954 cm³ 1.0 engine, good for some astonishing 45 hp! Some highlights are: Basic bumpers (not only full plastic and lacking extra holes, the whole shape is different front and rear) Ridged black trim on the quarter panels and rear tailgate with specific badge Basic steering wheel Basic gauge cluster Basic seats with specific carpeting Light grey interior 5.00BX13FH steelies with Peugeot center cap as standard 1989 Peugeot 205 XAD 1.8 Yet another base version, but a cargo one this time. By removing the rear seats, the XAD turns into a capable urban carrier, with all the space and all of the conveniences of a 205. Central Partition (Grill is optional) Rear Paneling and extra wide flooring Standard 'La Poste' Livery 1992 Peugeot 205 XL 1.1 + XLD 1.8 Still quite a basic trim, but no longer the base trim, it adds to the XE not only a bit more powerful petrol 1.1 1124 cm³, but also the following: Body trim Headrests Rear wiper Rear glass defrosting Analog clock in the gauge cluster XL/XLD Badges Along with the XL, the XLD is also included as is own config, featuring a 1.8 Diesel engine...and a XLD badge. 1994 Peugeot 205 Junior 1.0i Created to replace all the older entry trims, it was still a fairly simple version of the 205, but to add some appeal to it and make it more lively, hubcaps, decals and a denim interior were fitted as standard. 1989 Peugeot 205 XR 1.1 + XRD 1.8 As we move upwards into the top levels, more equipment is added and new seats design come in as well. XR features a beige interior, and XRD, a blue one. 9753462580 Hubcaps Light Height Switch Central Vents Glovebox Lid Analog Clock 1988 Peugeot 205 XT 1.4 + XTD 1.8 The XT was designed for those who wanted a sporty 3-Door 205, but couldn't (or didn't) go all the way to a GTI model. It's the perfect middle ground model, being great as a base for modifications, not too cheap/simple, not too exclusive/expensive. 1992 Peugeot 205 Rallye 1.4 (UK Market) You might be wondering why a Rallye is already being listed here, so low in the trim chain. Well, that's because looks can be deceiving, since instead of just doing an actual RHD 1.3 Rallye, they took a XT, souped it up with some Rallye parts, a nice livery, and...that's pretty much it. Being the first RHD car available for the mod, expect of course plenty of RHD parts, including: Dash (with everything fitted to it like gauge clusters, vents, radio, buttons...) Speedometers with dual Imperial/Metric measurements as found in the real cars Firewall Steering Wheels Pedals Wipers Mirrors (Interior and exterior, to ensure they all point to where they are supposed to go) Roof handles Also has as standard a new smaller sunroof! 1991 Peugeot 205 Indiana 1.4 Among the many and diverse special editions of the 205, the Indiana is one of the most unique and special ones, thanks to exclusive parts never seen in any other edition, and its positioning as a middle ground between the base and top trims. Features: Painted rims Brown tinted windows Sliding sunroof Luxe Gauges Special pockets in the door panels and front seats Specific badging and decals all around 1992 Peugeot 205 Automatic 1.6 European Compact 80's cars with an automatic gearboxes were definitely a thing, but quite a rare sight. That's where Peugeot created a whole trim dedicated around that simple fact, with the main feature obviously being the 4 speed automatic gearbox mated to a 80 hp 1.6 XU5 engine. 1989 Peugeot 205 XS 1.4 You can consider the XS a step further towards the GTI compared to the XT, adding to the mix more GTI components such as the front bumper and most of the interior looks. With only 85 hp, it was enough of a good recipe to kill the XT for good, being overselled by this trim. 1991 Peugeot 205 Rallye 1.3 The OG model, straight from Forza Horizon 5. Even if no extra parts were added, I still went the extra mile adding or improving many textures across the car, including the entire light system, with actual real parts as reference instead of generic ones. So about the car itself, well, it could be considered a GTI with a focus on racing, so less equipment, less weight (lesser engine too...) and a whole different experience. 1992 Peugeot 205 DTurbo 1.8 If the route to the GTI seemed too logical and boring, what about the DTurbo? It's sporty, has the GTI suspension...but a turbodiesel engine! It might not sound exactly like a blast performance-wise with 78 hp, but it surely was for a diesel. After all it helped give the diesel some sporty credentials, especially back in the day. 1990 Peugeot 205 Roland Garros The 205 was definitely not a stranger to special editions, in fact, it had plenty, with lots created over the years, in different markets, some almost unknown, and some, quite famous. The Roland Garros definitely belongs to the latter category, paying homage to the legendary tennis tournament, is based on an already sporty XS, it added plenty of unique styling cues all over the car, with a white leather interior, red seatbelts, and a special metallic green exterior paint. It was quite a success, and in fact, the trim was reused in other Peugeot models ever since. 1988 Peugeot 205 GTI 1.6 Of course, a first release had to have one of the most famous hot hatches of all time. It has a mix of parts from the Rallye and the XE, since parts are shared depending on the config, but unique to the GTI as standard are the following: Front Fog Lights Full GTI Exterior Trim (Bumpers, Fenders, Body, Doors...) Specific GTI Quarter Panel Trim (With 1.6 GTI written on them) Specific Wheel Arches front and back (Rounder than the ones in the Rallye) GTI Seats Front and Back Speedline SL 201 rims GTI Steering Full Central Console GTI Door Panels front and rear 1990 Peugeot 205 GTI 1.9 Next up the line is the 1.9, the most powerful engine normally available before stepping in the Turbo 16, so no matter if you prefer the 1.6 or the 1.9, both ones are in, being the 1.9 representative of a 1990 model with new lights style. Besides the obvious engine difference, the 1.9 has as standard: Speedline SL 299 rims 1.9 Badging in the quarter panel trims Miami Blue exterior color 1991 Peugeot 205 GTI 1.9 Griffe A very well known version, it is based on the 1.9 GTI, but has a standard Vert Fluorite paint from the factory, as well as chromed trim instead of red, green details inside, leather seats, gunmetal rims, and yellow foglights among other details. Also, the mod supports some of the game's main features such as animated shifters, working odometers in both gauge cluster versions, it's fully openable as well via trigger boxes, has cargo loads and physical mirrors. 1992 Peugeot 205 GTI 1.9 1FM Using a 205 1.9 GTI as a base, with some Griffe parts such as the seats and wheels, the 1FM was made to commemorate BBC Radio 1FM’s 25th Birthday in 1992. With only 25 units ever produced, and just a couple of them remaining nowadays, this is one of the most exclusive versions ever done of the 205, and of course, has a couple of unique features to it, such as: Unique badging and logos around the car. Brass plaque on the driver's door with the VIN number of the car and the edition number (out of 25). Unique floormats in burgundy and the 25th 1FM logo. Being a radio special edition, a focus on the sound system was given with the following equipment: Clarion CDC6700R head unit. Clarion CDC9250 CD changer (mounted in the trunk). Clarion SE4900 speakers (mounted in the parcel shelf). Finally, Sliding Sunroof, A/C, Power Steering and ABS are standard too. 1993 Peugeot 205 Gentry The Gentry is easy to understand, take a GTI, tune it a bit down for cruising rather than speed, and add more luxury to it. Power went down to 105 hp, but added special materials, trim, and rims all around, and was offered in only 2 colors, Sorrento Green and Mayfair Beige, being the latest the rarest one to find. 2022 Peugeot 205 GTI 1.9 Tolman Edition Yes, you read that right, 2022. Tolman is a british motorsport focused-company, and this was their take on the mythical 205 GTI 1.9, being a proper restomod trying to elevate it to modern standards, but being respectful of the original car. A 200 hp engine, overhauled driving dynamics, and on top of that, digital gauges to mimic the original analog unit, the Tolman is maybe the ultimate GTI for the modern public. 1991 Peugeot 205 1.3 Rally Spec The Peugeot 205 was not only a successful car on the roads, but also a celebrated racing car, being the T16 the better known version of them all, but with a simple modifications a street car can become a fun rally machine for the budget, as shown with this unit, which started life as a 1.3 Rallye, but modified for amateur rally racing. Features the following: Rally suspension, Wheels and Tyres Front Spotlights Mudflaps Race Exhaust (with new tip) Rollcage Custom Dashboard Front Racing Seats (Added the option for all cars) Custom Rear Panels Window Nets Windshield Strip (Fully paintable) 1991 Peugeot 205 1.3 Cup Spec So you're more into tarmac racing rather than off-road rallying? KNOWN BUGS: Damage under certain crashes can be a bit spikey Weight across the configs are not as accurate as they should The game console returns quite a number of issues The underside differs extensively from the actual car (No spare wheel, reduced muffler) due to space issues -ANY HELP IS WELCOMED TO FIX AND IMPROVE THE CAR- Why the year range is that limited if the car was built from 1983 to 1998? The plan is try to expand it as much as possible, but key differences exist between certain range of years, all versions from 1983-1988 are excluded since they featured a completely different dashboard, which is too much of a work for me, 1984 to 1988 had different lights (these are planned) and the latter years featured at the very least a modern steering wheel, so for now, that's all. How many versions are planned? The T16 is planned as well? What about a 5-Door/Convertible/Van-Multi? As for versions, as many as possible for now at least, including ones such as the Rolland Garros, Style, Look, GT...the T16 is the biggest question mark here. Yes, Forza offers a T16 which would be a perfect base too, and yes, the remastered Covet offers a mid-engine Gr.B range of versions, so it's definitely a match made in heaven, but the differences between the base car here and the T16 are so many that it would imply making a whole new car from the ground up...and so far I'm not really positive on that, especially with all the long road ahead, same happens with other body styles, they requiere a comprehensive rework of the body and the jbeams so the mod will be offered in 3-door configs only. I am gonna enjoy this mod as much as I enjoyed the 4Runner and Defender. Hopes the mod doesn't get cancelled other good ones.

In the jbeam pic you mean? It's just a node to help the antenna behave correctly. BTW, some nodes might look misaligned (like the ones in the B pillar) but some small adjustments had to be made to avoid stress, crushing, and other issues. The car is very stable right now regarding those issues. And yep, I'm very much aware of that mod, but that's based on the Renault Clio I, the most related mod would be this: WIP Beta released - Peugeot 205 GTi (Update 14/06/2019) | BeamNG Funnily enough, it was based on the 1984-1988 car, and since it's low-poly it behaved better on crashes. I tried to reduce some polycount in certain areas like the hood, but it's hard to do so in others.
they are different since charmand is a virtual automaker,you can also know it from their grill and body type(205 have a mid-engine version,a.k.a peugeot 205 t16,charmand only have a front-engine version)
