    Is that a V8 I see?
And, I do have a question about this truck. Do you think that you can make a stock 4x4 version of the truck? If not, that is completely fine.

I noticed the front axle shocks are going to some sort of ifs a arm on the frame that is also connected to the nuckles. How would it be able to articulate?

I just looked at that myself. It looks like an angled piece of metal with a hinge.

Re: 1986 toyota extended cab( my truck)

You are doing the same error as in your Kenworth project.

    1. Most of your model have inverted faces. That way some are dark blueish and some are light blueish. Fix that, Google keywords "blender backfaces"

    2. JBEAM IS TOTALLY WRONG. You don't use the model and pass it through the Jbeam export. The Jbeam is not made from the 3D model.. (search in the wiki about the vehicle creation guide)

    3. Inconsistency of the model. Some parts use quite high amount of polies (those brakes..) some are basically cubes.

Related to your forum usage (feel free to follow my tips or not, not much of a problem, but it disturb me :p)

    4. Using big text for your first post is useless. You already made a thread, people who click it are obviously going to read it. Making all the text bigger have no sense rather than taking more screen space..

    5. Usually updates gets posted in a new post. You are making a post just saying about "Updates!!" but pos ING the actual progresses by editing the first post (has some sense, but not really that convenient)

Apart that, I hope you manage to fix your model problems and get through the creation of a proper Jbeam. Goodluck.

to add to my comment, just my opinion, i also think that stock yota wheels or maybe just d series steel wheels would be a really cool option!

Re: 1986 toyota extended cab( my truck)

That happens when you have backfaces (as I said above, those darker faces) in your model.

    Shading 101
    Y2yGqfv.jpg

You will have to flip your backfaces (Either select those faces then press W > Invert face OR select the whole thing while in edit mode and press SHIFT+N to make Blender autocalculate them - not always correct).
Then add an edge split modifier at the end to normalize the shading around the corners..

What about looking at some blender basic tutorial, most of them cover these parts..

Like I said in an earlier post: I love Toyota's 4x4s. They are some of the best out there. Soon, I will own a 1998 Toyota 4Runner SR5 4WD.

I have a 2000 Toyota Tacoma TRD and I like it and all, fun truck with it being 5 speed manual, but it's way too small for me lol.
Can't wait for this model to be released, looks like it could be some fun on offroad maps.
