what the hell...
How about naming it Gavril Hammer
the poll deciding the name of the car is closed so no more suggestions
No, the name is "set in stone" as Brutus B1
I remember the video this was in. OfficialNerdCubed's GTA IV Tsunami mod?
Hmm... On Hold?
It's on hold while ATV123 moves most likely, as the modelling is finished or nearly finished and only JBEAM work needs to be done yet.
It's on hold because I'm not making any progress on it modeling wise & atv_123 is being busy with real life stuff but also he will move to a new house soon, so he has to prepare all his stuff for that as well
And remade textures, as stated by Schumacher in a pm with me
So... since the Hummer H1's name was derived from the nickname "Humvee," which in turn originated from HMMWV (High Mobility Multipurpose Wheeled Vehicle), will the B1 perhaps have any lore related to how it became branded as the Brutus? Maybe BRJT (Battlefield Relocation Joint Transport), known to soldiers as the "Brute?" I don't know, just putting out ideas.
Tbh, I like that name.
How about dropping the "J":
Given that vowels tend to be added into military acronyms as speakers see fit, we could even get rid of "universal" and make it work.
Good thinking. I like "BRUTS" better than "BRUTUS" or "BRJT." What about Battlefield Rough Terrain Utility System? It's "BRTUS," but we can pronounce it ber-tuss, which might be easier/more logical to insert a vowel in the middle of than bruts.
what about something like "Bi-Drive Reconnaissance Transport for Universal Service" (B.R.T.U.S)?
(or some combination of everyone's)
so why is it on hold?
