WIP 1980 Buick Riviera (Modelling log)

It's a been a while since posting here and I've been in the mood to model cars again, so I decided to choose a car I can just dedicate myself to that hasn't been done a million times before. It's the Buick Riviera. One of my favorite Malaise era cars. I was surprised to find out this car was front wheel drive. Anyways, I will document my progress here, and at the end I'll have a model perfect for beam.ng once it's done.

 

Not much today, just body work refinements. Tomorrow I will work on reducing those polys and then I'm going to cut the panels out.

None generation of Riviera had 4-door version.

 

That's what I figured but I wasn't sure.

 

looks interesting... Will this be put on a already existing car vanilla beam car or made from scratch?

 

This guy makes everything the real deal and doesn't steal from other cars.

Im in the middle with like 3 projects rn so i cant really do anything plus that i cant find the real time jbeam editor which is a pain.

you could do a collab with somebody that can do jbeams!
