Not all old cars, but cars like this from this era absolutely yes 100%. I've ridden in a few. It's kinda like being on a trampoline or a water bed. The older the more squishy. They were made like that for "comfort" although suspension that squishy is not comfortable at all. --- Post updated --- I'm sure @bussin.buses could weigh in on this better
