Chong Mcbongs' 1952 Tempo Matador A conversion mod I was planning on doing a while a while back but never started. Now, my plan was to throw it over the D-15s' jbeam and modify it from there. Appropriate credit will be given, being that Chong McBong is the creator and gabe is the creator of the original code. If you want my proof of permission then I will post it. Specs: 1952 Tempo Matador workhorse truck 25hp Volkswagen engine (there will be a larger engine, maybe 250hp), located in the center suicide doors front-mounted gas tank I had a thought, I could either use the Vans jbeam, or spend a long time making my own in GregBlasts' editor.
Heh, yeah a lot of people don't realize just how well older vehicles tended to do at at low to moderate speeds, at least as long as it wasn't a roll over. The vehicles would survive the crash, but the people inside would get mushed pretty bad. :-\ Tends to happen when the human body is where most of the deceleration from the crash happens.
Ooh, how I'd love to see this in BeamNG, I can imagine this would fair pretty well against an Ibishu Covet. You have my support :3
That might happen if this one is successful, Chong gave me and Hati the rights to convert his vehicles. - - - Updated - - - It'll be a while, got the holidays, then finals, then my birthday. If I can make it past my inherited attention problems, then we will see some progress. - - - Updated - - - Explosion would happen if it were pressurized, which it is not. Rather, it would cause a spreading fire that would cover the ground in a magnificent fury of burning gasoline.
Not to mention, it would also cover the cabin with burning gasoline, coating the terrified poor souls who can't get out, bringing them to a slow, fiery death.
I just noticed a huge problem with my post, that top Tempo Matador doesn't have the correct doors. =G Plus, on a sad note, the crane is an add-on the GTA IV converter guy made and will not be included in the release of this mod. I may model it later when more stuff is coded. I do have UPDATE news though, I, thanks to GregBlast and his incredible Real Time Vehicle Editor, can now make significant progress. http://www.beamng.com/threads/4681-...-0-0-0-8-Critical-update-!-(errors-3D-editor) There is a catch, I will have to separate a lot of the model up, so there will be like a whole week long nothingness before I can actually start jbeam work. Oh, I also need to learn how to use GregBlasts' program more efficiently.
So, this isn't dead, just dormant till I can free up some time. I really want DrowsySam to release a jbeam video so that I have an idea on how to get it working.
