Hello everyone, I bring a remake of something I made a while ago, an alternative launcher for beamng.drive It has custom features, and features you know about. I will explain below: Some do the usual. Start game loads beamng.drive Mods opens the mods folder Screenshots will show the 11 most recent screenshots, and a button to view the screenshots folder The Debug game will have a clear cache button, aswell as a link to the support website. The Car Config installer will help you to install custom .PC configurations. You start of by selecting the .PC file of choise Next you choose the car it is for (if supported) Finally press Add to BeamNG where it will make the neccissary folder and add the .PC configuration There is a new Modules button that will give access to all the new features. this allows the UI to look clean, while also having more and more features for you to use. Planned Features: Options for background image changing Options for button colour changing Options for Beamng version (0.X) (done in 1.1.0) [removed for legal reasons] Safe mode Launching Vulkan Launching (done in 1.1.0) BeamMP support??? (idk I probably need permission) .pc automatic checker notice: if new cars are added then I will do my best to add them. this will be opensource when released. My dumbass just tried to download this on linux, forgetting that I am not booted into my Windows 10 partition.

if you wouldnt mind sharing, how does your application force either API onto the game? does it just open the older launcher in backgroud and press the right button or does it actually command dto open the .x64 executable in a certain state with certain flags

hello, The launcher needs to have the .DLL files and other features I placed in the .zip folder. You can add a shortcut to your desktop to make it work rather than the actual file.
Just tried it. Nice proof of concept, although the custom UI is really unpolished RN (Something to expect from a WIP mod). There's just a MASSIVE issue. DId you hard-code the default Beamng DATA path into the source of this? Because it's basically useless for me now since my Beamng DATA folder isn't in it's default location.
