Did you try to see if Gearbox Safety Assisant is turned on again?

@Nadeox1 Wet asphalt textures are really strange (clean reinstall, no mods activated).

 

There is no such thing as 12.0.2 (yet)

 

It released earlier today, there just wasn't a blog post about it because it fixed some small thing internally, according to Nadeox.

Indeed it's a speedometer and not a tachometer. My mistake. But while we're at it, I decided to open my eyes and research whether old-ish transit city buses indeed have no tachometer.

It seems like we don't have a definitive answer from the pics, but the buses that look a bit more like the Beamng bus (the Gilig buses) are the ones who have no tachometers.

But aside from that, there's no reason not to add a tachometer. Beamng never intended to copy real life cars, so it's bus can have a tachometer even if some real life buses don't. It helps driving, it's something buses from the 80's-90's clearly had (see pics), and it's avaliable on the external camera anyway. It can replace the air pressure guage, which is pretty useless. I've never seen one so ridiculusly big.

 

somehow my antivirus software keep listing console.x64.exe as a virus, any idea to fix?

 

Bus engine sound issue still not fixed It goes quiet when you turn the camera to the left

 

Maybe by adding that program to your antivirus's whitelist.

 

from what it looks like, they removed some leftovers from some "animated person" experiment called "malcom" from the gameengine.
(a person model with a simple mixamo walking animation)

along with the T3D standard "soldier-player" files that suddenly reapeared with the 0.12 update.

my best guess would be that theyre trying to do some ROR person like experiments. but who knows.
