I'd bet that you could do it with only basic understanding of JBEAM. I did it several times with the T-Series, and it's actually very easy to do.
There's a fixed version a few pages back, you have to search for it. I do wish we didn't have to do that. That file should be on the original post.
I don't think the D-Series would benefit from having that. Even the ultraheavy 6x6 6-door frames I've seen aren't heavy enough to warrant airbrakes.
