A 1930s race car

This is my very first Automation car I built and so I decided to share it with you all here! Since I first built this I went back and fixed some of the problems with it, but still others remain. See known issues further down. I'm new to Beam and Automation so I haven't got far into messing around with files, but the car drives well by itself.

So, this car was my first ever Automation car and it turned out decently enough. I wanted an old race car and this fits the bill perfectly! It's an open topped two seater with all the hallmarks of a true race vehicle! It has a powerful, load and beefy engine to push it along, plus a through exhaust so you can hear all that power as it leaves the engine! There's a choice of colours but deep red is my favourite, race number 31 and while the steering wheel is on the American side of the car there's nothing I can do about that now!

    Some tech specs:
    • A 7.1 litre V12 that's just squeezing out 400 HP at max revs.
    • Maximum of 455 Nm of torque.
    • 136 MPH top speed.
    • Longitudinal RWD 4 speed manual gearbox.
    • Double wishbone suspension both front and rear.
    • Open differential.
    • 2 seater.
    • Unbaffled exhaust so you can really hear that power!
    Known issues:
    • Lots of wheelspin but there's nothing I can really do other than knocking like 100 HP off the engine.
    • Low front brake force but it still stops in a decent distance.
    • Slight understeer but easily corrected.
Credit to Gizmo for the car body and 1930s vehicle parts to make this come to life!
