LOVE your mod! though the mount doesn't seem to be rigid, not a big issue in my opinion. The D-series doesn't produce any particles. EVEN with the tuning on max for particles. (so do other vehicles)
absolutely love this bro! works as realistically as intended! only 2 suggestions are maybe make the key bind for the jet separate from the cars actual engine, so that its possible to drive your car around without using the engine to propel yourself! anyhow, great job on this mod!
It's pretty awesome! Sadly not available for the majority of cars I've tried. (Nor in the license plate section, nor as a prebuilt config) But it works for the Pidgeon and the D series and I may have missed a few more. Sadly not nearly as universal as I thought it would be.
For some reason when I equip the jet mod on any car I get an error message or the game freezes then crashes im not sure if BeamNG is doing this or the Mod but its an ashame that I cant use it seemed like a cool mod.
love it! i think this would be awesome as a turboshaft jet that could be located in a cars engine bay as a replacement to an ICE. it could be mated with vanilla transmissions and other drivetrains
lots of fun to toy around with and works very well however I've noticed I have issues with the jet engines basically exploding after a minute or two of use. Do you know if theres a fix and if not do you plan to try and fix it? Thank you and other than that like i said its load of fun
This mod is so fun!
I have two large suggestions, and they are:
1. Make this mod fully universal. Since this mod can be equipped under license plate design, it already has a lot of potential to be used on any car that supports it. A good thing to add as well is the positioning offset so the user can move the engine to wherever on the mod vehicle they need to.
2. Add customization. I did not see anything that can change the fuel consumption, thrust, idle speed, or max speed. Adding this would be very useful since a lot of people out there (including me) love to customize and modify things. Plus if you added an optional and customizable afterburner, that would be like the cherry on top.
If you add these two things, there would be no doubt that this would be the ultimate jet engine mod. Also, I did get an invalid invite link to your Discord server, so make sure to check it often.
Thank you
Wouldn't be able to do positioning offset as the prop inside the jet engine relies on the dae location (I have tried with custom offset settings)
Currently working on rpm, torque and some other power offsets for the next update :)
