Beta UI Vehicle Mirrors 1.11

You can see your own vehicle!

    This mod adds picture-in-picture UI mirrors. This allows you to see your own vehicle in the image compared to the dynamic reflection ones.

    IMPORTANT!
    Please turn OFF the following graphics settings to avoid graphical glitches:
    • Anti-Aliasing (don't use FXAA)
    • Shadows (only if shadow flickering occurs)
    Also vehicle lights don't work when mirrors are active :(
    And for performance, use the Vulkan renderer!

    As of the 1.1x update, "Use Efficient Rendering" is disabled as its currently buggy.

    To use the mod, spawn in a vanilla vehicle with wing mirrors (modded vehicles may not work) and simply press F3 (default keybinding) to toggle between the different mirror modes (Off, Side Mirrors Only, Rear View Mirror Only, All Mirrors). You can drag the mirrors around the screen with the left mouse button and also resize them. And right-clicking on individual mirror UIs allows you to adjust individual mirrors and global rendering settings.

    If right-clicking a mirror doesn't work, press ~ (tilde) key first and try again.

    Hi author, can you add 2 more mirror modes(left side mirror only, right side mirror only)? It will be a good QOL change. Also when virtual mirros are turned on, they generate shadow in the game. Is there a way to address the problem?

    This mod basically died after Dymanic mirrors came out, but I think it has a better use: Multirender cameras: It could be used for complex machinery mods and potentially an addon for multiseat!

    the mirrors have become dark and there are constant glitches in them. I understand this is because of the update 0.29 because I turned off what is written in the message

    Beamng gone crazy after installing this mod. Mod manager apparently empty, shadows gone after deleting mod, every thing seems bright and camera is stuck and does not follow vehicles anymore.

      Hmm did you adjust your graphics settings to ones in the mod description? PM me if that didn't fix it.

    U are such a legend man! I'm so thankful to you for creating this mod. I'm in process of getting drivers license and I practice parking in beamng. It'd be impossible without this mod. I don't understand why devs can't implement this in the game by default.
