Nice mod but the wear seems to have a timer, driving slow or standing still apply wear to the tires

After having spent a long time running the car the tire does not burst, the car breaks down before the tire suffers any damage. Apart from that, I found the proposal and how tire wear works interesting, even though it takes a long time for the tire to burst.(Update) "I noticed recently when I left my car idle for a long time the tire just starts to wear out on its own until the tires burst"

Author's Response
Interesting.. The tyres definitely pop when condition hits 0%, but most engines will overheat and give out before the tyres, unless in race conditions with lots of airflow to cool the engine. By chance when the car was idle and the tyres burst, was the handbrake on? Please respond in the discussion thread and I will look at fixing it

Incredibly stoked to be able to still have tyre wear and thermals in BeamNG -

Said it on Luuks page, ill say it here too: I love everything about this mod. And I use it to the full extent. I've been endurance racing for a while and feeling the wheels give in some turns, spin more while accelerating or lose braking effectiveness really adds to the realism and I love it. There's only one problem: you cant replace your tires without resetting your whole car. If there were an option to 100% all tires when stopped after a set time, that would be astonishing

I like the idea of being able to do tyre changes, I'll see what I can do

great mod, only complaint is when there is more than 4 wheels the UI app doesn't know what to do.

Amazing mod! Love the extra features, just curious if I need to have the Luuk tyre thermals enabled or do I keep it disabled?
-
Author's Response
Please remove Luuk's version, it's not needed :)

Thank you for saving this amazing mod. Any plans on updating Drafting by luuks as well?
-
Author's Response
Hi Swilleh thanks for the review :) no plans to carry on the drafting mod at the moment I'd rather focus my energy on wear and thermals to get it right at the moment

I appreciate the inclusion of Lateral G forces in the calculation. The outer ring's heat buildup during oversteering is informative and helps me avoid overdriving the car during cornering.

I would like to see warmed-up sports and standard tires at once, so that warmed-up wheels are often required, and they are cold (
-
Author's Response
Thanks BriNgeR, I can do this in the next update and could you put this in the mod discussion page so others can discuss it too! Thanks :)
Eventually I'll have a settings panel so you can choose when tyres are preheated ;)
